Southern Umbrella Grass (Fuirena scirpoidea) is a Florida native grass. A sedge with triangular stems and brown, clustered flower heads. It thrives in wet sandy soils and provides food for waterfowl. Habitats: wetland, pine flatwoods, meadow. Light: full sun.
