Myrsine (Myrsine cubana) is a Florida native shrub. A compact evergreen shrub with small leathery leaves and tiny inconspicuous flowers. It produces small blue-black berries and is extremely tolerant of salt and drought. Habitats: coastal, hammock, urban, scrub. Light: full sun, partial shade.
