Yapa Palm (Sabal yapa) is a Florida native palm. Medium-sized fan palm with distinctive leaf characteristics. Native to the Yucatan Peninsula with some natural occurrence in extreme south Florida. Habitats: coastal, hammock. Light: full sun, partial shade.
