Prairie Dropseed (Sporobolus heterolepis) is a Florida native grass. A fine-textured bunch grass that forms neat, rounded clumps with thread-like leaves. It produces fragrant flowers and has excellent orange fall color. Habitats: prairie, upland, sandhills. Light: full sun.
